How to Prepare an Impactful Media Release

This microlearning provides guidance, practice and resources on preparing a press release in order to help increase the impact of official statistics in informing decision making and public debate.

Each of the four learning videos lasts around 5 minutes. After the videos, there is an (ungraded) exercise to complete on writing a media release. There are also links to the resources mentioned within the videos.

This course is based on a module of the user engagement workshop developed & delivered by the UN Statistics Division as part of the UNSD-FCDO project on SDG Monitoring. This project was funded by UK aid from the British people.
