Privacy Policy of the UN SDG:Learn platform

The present Privacy Policy along with the Terms and Conditions of Use constitute an “Agreement” between the user and the UN SDG:Learn regarding the use of any portion of the UN SDG:Learn platform which consists of all content located within the unsdglearn.org web domain, including featured courses and microlearning, blogs, podcasts, assessments or any other services (learning products and solutions).

By registering on the UN SDG:Learn platform, Users hereby confirm their awareness and acceptance of the present Privacy Policy and the Terms and Conditions of Use, as well as any changes or modifications to the Privacy Policy or Terms and Conditions of Use that may from time to time be implemented.

The purpose of this Privacy Policy is to explain how UN SDG:Learn collects, uses and shares information about Users through the UN SDG:Learn platform www.unsdglearn.org) and respective featured content and assessments.

  2. Selected areas of interest around SDGs, cross-cutting themes and mental models;
  3. User assessments  results;
  4. Anonymized user behaviour and statistics.

Personal information of Users may be transferred to the United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR) and the United Nations System Staff College (UNSSC), which serve as the UN SDG:Learn Joint Secretariat. Once transferred to UNITAR and UNSSC, personal information will be processed by UNITAR in accordance with its Data Protection and Privacy Policy and by UNSSC in accordance with its Privacy Policy.

No individual learning analytics will be knowingly made available to other people outside UN SDG:Learn unless specified and a separate consent from users is obtained.

 

Use of Information

Personal information is collected and used for the following purposes:

  1. to provide, maintain, protect and improve the quality of the UN SDG:Learn, UN SDG:Learn and all its services; this includes the research purposes and implementation of quality assurance processes. The information is used without personal identification;
  2. to provide Users with personalised feedback;
