Statistics Norway is sharing experiences in gender statistics with other statistics producers and users through a programme called Gender Equality for Development. Lately, the cooperation has met online, and three lectures from the project were turned into videos. The videos use statistical examples from Ethiopia and Nepal, who were the two first countries participating in the programme.
- The first video looks at what we really mean when we talk about Gender Statistics and Indicators. (16 minutes)
- The second video shows examples from Norway (18 minutes)
- The final session gives practical examples on how you can tell gender equality stories from your country using statistics. (22 minutes)
There are discussion exercises from each lecture added at the end of each video.
