This course on SDG 7 – Affordable and clean energy– allows for a learner to get a holistic and global understanding of the role of the current transition towards clean and sustainable sources of energy. The learner will have the opportunity to familiarise themselves with the five targets of this goal and assess both their own household’s energy use, as well as their home country’s energy mix. They will furthermore engage in experiential exercises, such as the use of an energy journal, and plan an excursion to a nearby power plant. In a globalising world, students will need to think critically, globally and in terms of whole systems. This course supports Ubiquity’s mission in building those skills.
