The course provides an overview of how the Escazú Agreement and the Aarhus Convention support SDG 16 and the 2030 Agenda.After the completion of the course, participants will have an overview of the environmental and human rights dimension of SDG 16, Rio Principle 10 and access rights. They will understand the Aarhus Convention and the Protocol on Pollutant Release and Transfer Registers and have gained knowledge about the negotiation and adoption of the Escazú Agreement.
